The town itself occupies a commanding position overlooking the sea. To the north lies the impressive 400 feet high chalk cliffs of Filey Brigg, a haven for a variety of birds and wildlife. Stretching out to the South is a 5 mile stretch of clean, sandy award-winning beach.
Filey has a number of award-winning gardens which merit a visit and are perfect for whiling away your time especially.
There are also plenty of activities on offer locally for all the family including surfing, fishing, yachting, golf, walking, bird watching and more.
